LCBF Double Sounds Snap

This simple, easy-to-play game is designed to build basic phonemic awareness of double sounds also known as digraphs. A digraph is when two letters come together to make one sound. Some double sounds are spelled the same but sound different, like ‘oo’ (as in moon) and ‘oo’ (as in book). However, some double sounds sound the same but are spelled differently, like ‘ey’ (as in monkey) and ‘ee’ (as in bee). Colourful, engaging and phonetically correct illustrations will ensure children love playing Snap as they develop their reading skills!
